North American Forts

Orlando (USA)

The Orlando fort is one of the largest Human Fronts in the world. It consists of the remaining buildings of Disney’s Epcot Theme Park. There are a total of thirteen buildings remaining from the theme park’s showcase plaza and entrance. All of the buildings have been boarded up using metal and other findings from the ruins of the theme park.
Charlottetown (Canada)

The Charlottetown fort is located in the old Queen Charlotte Armoury, a brick two-story building. Its windows have been reinforced with heavy duty bullet proof glass, though a select few on the top floor can be cracked open to allow for a defense plan.
Ottawa (Canada)

The Ottawa fort is located in the old Parliament Hill building. Due to the many floors and windows of the building, it is one of the worst human fronts in North America. It is not well guarded, but as it is also not very well traveled, myths tend to leave the fort alone.
Chicago (USA)

The Chicago fort is located in Wrigley Field. It’s one of the more dangerous forts in North America, as there are too many vulnerabilities (no roof, many windows, etc.) for the United Front to cover. It’s mostly an overnight fort, but myths (especially those that can fly) usually attack it once or twice a week.
Dallas (USA)

The Dallas fort is located inside the Dealey Plaza building on the sixth floor, which used to to be the The Sixth Floor Museum dedicated to one of the country’s more famous presidents. It is a relatively safe fort, as all of the windows on the floor have been heavily fortified. The museum section is considered the fort, which does not include the old visitor services desk and store.
Tofino (Canada)

The Tofino fort is the old Roy Henry Vickers Gallery. This is a relatively safe fort, as there are barely any windows and doors. However, the entire fort is made out of wood, so it is easily susceptible to myths with fire abilities as well as fire in general. It is considered the last fort before humans take a boat out of Freedom Cove to sail southwest.
Los Angeles (USA)

The Los Angeles fort is located inside the old Petersen Automotive Museum. In 2010, ten years after the war began, the Human Council poured a lot of money into the renovation of the fort in order to secure one of the last forts before Ouraell. Its new design (see museum pictures after 2015) is considered ingenious, though the extra layer of protective metal can be a hindrance if myths set off chain reactions underneath it. No matter, it is still considered a very safe fort, though the route to and from it is considered the most dangerous out of the North American forts.
Kauai (Hawai’i/USA)

The human fort on the island of Kauai is Shipwreck Beach. This is the last fort and stop before Ouraell. Technological advances have allowed ships to pass somewhat safely into the cove to carry humans to Ouraell. It has sheer and jagged mountains enclosing it on all sides, leaving a small secluded sandy beach. Small alcoves on the beach under the mountains allow for shelter from myth attacks. As the last stop before Ouraell, it is the most heavily guarded fort in the world along with the fort in Japan. Myths try repeatedly to destroy what they perceive an exposed target, only to find rows of tanks, missiles, and other weaponry at the ready.
